Treasury

On Etsy there is a fun way to pick and share items that you like from other sellers in a curated collection called a treasury. Since starting the Celebrated Lady Etsy shop I've always been interested in creating a treasury.

So I started small. I did two just getting the feel for how to collect images, what looks better, and how to be truly inspired by a great topic.

I feel I'm finally starting to get the hang of it.

Being that we are in the midst of prom and wedding season I kept seeing all of these beautiful dresses and it got me thinking about Cinderella. First I should say that next to Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella is one of my favorite fairytales. In fact I love the Disney version so much the in my studio I have a little collection of the sewing mice that aid Cinderella in sewing her dress and of course Jack and Gus Gus are the stars of the show. I joke that they are my little studio helpers.

My love for the tale of Cinderella is just what led me to create my most recent treasury. I called it "Until Midnight" because that is when Cinderella must leave the royal ball.
